About Me

     In this series of photos we used different abstract techniques. i used light writing ,and objects to depict the image.

                              My lighting Chart is accurate but you have to start backward according to the order of pictures.                    My Theme was to capture raw emotions and facial expressions based on a reaction of a trigger photo. In my models first picture I didn't say anything to them I just stood there and snapped the picture when I felt was right. For my lighting I placed the lights where it would best highlight the facial features to get the full effect of the facial expression they were making.

  In this picture I was trying to focus on the shoes, legs, pants and the blue hoodie so I played with the levels and and master colors until it made those colors stand out I also played with the lightness and saturation until I felt it looked good enough. i also wanted he background to match the flow of the colors worn in the photo so i played with the colors until i got the right tint. I was going for a wavy type of depth of field look   In this photo I wanted to make it feel warm to compliment the light the sun is bringing into the photo so i mainly played with the saturation and cyan tint, i also played with the lighting of the photo to make it stand out and give it a nice depth of field. In this motion photo I wanted to focus on the person doing the motion and not really focus on the background i also turned up the saturation and cyan on this picture i think it compliments the colors of the picture alot. this photo in my opinion is the weakest out of the three because I w...

  The first photo is the original photo. In my opinion I think the first edited photo is the best-edited one while playing around with all the photos I was trying to bring out a mysterious and spooky look and make the photos look like they could have been taken a long time ago. I feel like I accomplished what I was aiming for I played around with mostly hue and saturation and the lightness and darks of the photos enhancing and darkening shadows. I used the same technique on every photo until it was to my liking.

  My name is Avaun Rucker. I attend Bethel University I am an art major and I am from Atlanta Ga and went to Riverdale high school. Artists you may have heard of before attended that school such as T.I and Ciara and more. I have lived there my whole life I also play football and after I graduated high school I went to West Virginia State University while I attended there I was a communication major. While attending there I started to learn about digital editing, tv production behind the scenes of the way everyone has to work and communicate as a team to run a tv show or even a short broadcasting, I also learned about theatre and the beginning of theatre. The most interesting to me though is digital editing and photography because I see a lot of money in it in today's time and also because I enjoy it and the endless amount of creativity that can go into it.
